December Distribution
Initially those reaching retirement age in the village qualified automatically for the December Distribution. Over time, however, It became apparent that some recipients did not necessarily satisfy the terms in the Charity’s Deeds, which state that help should go to deserving cases, regardless of age.
In order to ensure that as Trustees we are acting in accordance with the terms of the original Trust and in the best interest of the beneficiaries, after considerable thought, the Trust’s scheme has evolved to meet the needs of our modern society, to ensure fairness and accessibility for everyone.
To apply for the December Distribution applicants must:
1. complete an application form
2. be a deserving case
3. have lived in Welton for a minimum of 2 years
4. make only one application per household
The Trust does not have unlimited funds and grants will be unlikely to exceed £50- £75. The exact amount is variable according to the number of applicants, and each applicant will receive the same amount as all others in the same given year.

Timeframe:
Annual application timeframes are as follows:
31st October: Completed forms should be submitted no later that 31st October
November: The Trustees approve the applications during their November meeting
December: The grants are awarded no later than first week of December
