About Us

Welton Town Lands Trust has its roots in a heritage that spans over four centuries, founded by dedicated yeoman farmers. We aim to uphold their legacy by managing land and maintaining investments that provide income to support our community.

Except for a small amount of money in investments, the income today is derived solely from land rented to a tenant farmer, of which one field is still named “Town lands”.

The Charity comes under the supervision of the Official Custodian and the Charity Commissioners for England and Wales.

The accounts are audited annually and are presented at the A.G.M of the Parish Council.  A copy is also forwarded to be entered in the Charity Commission’s Database.

Registered Charity Number: 204672
